Meet Michael Braxton Sr.

Candidate for Texas State Senate 30th District

Michael Braxton Sr. born and raise in a small town Denison, Texas. Has 10 siblings and he is the oldest of 11 children. Michael Braxton Sr. married the lovely late Rosie Hogan Braxton and they have three children and 4 grandchildren whom is his heart. He is the owner of Braxton’s Barbershop in Denison, Texas and the pastor of Bethel Community Baptist Church. Michael Braxton Sr. has graduated from barber school and also graduated from Southern Bible Institute of Dallas, Texas. He is a generous and compassionate person in the community. Michael Braxton Sr. has a love for the golf game he is always willing to help support a cause through participating in golf tournaments. Michael Braxton Sr. has a leave no child behind policy at his barbershop. Every year before school starts there are dates set aside for free haircuts for all school age children. He is always supporting our local schools and youth. His main concern is all children be equal and their conduct and conversation. Michael Braxton Sr. is always helping others whether is its giving a free haircut, supporting them during hard times or speaking for them in a court situation. He travels around the state to give his support and help to those in need. He has been a leader over 15 churches as a zone leader and just recently he was moderator over 30 churches 2018-2022. He has the type of experience dealing with people and supporting their needs and fighting for their well being with different organizations. Michael Braxton Sr. served on the caucus for president Obama in 2008 in Austin Texas. He is motivational speaker and volunteers for what is needed in the community.

Our children and grandchildren are our future. We must provide the protection and substance they need in order to survive in this world.

My daughter and son are providing for the future by securing and supporting the necessities for my grandchildren to obtain to survive. Just like all Americans should do and that is by voting the ones in office to make those choices into laws for us.
